Role Summary:
A Software Developer cum Development Operations Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining systems, implementing daily code changes based on emerging insights. This role involves overseeing software programming, conducting testing at different phases, creating software designs, and using models or diagrams to communicate goals. Additionally, the individual maps out future strategies for continuous improvement.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, primarily focusing on Zoho and other similar cloud platforms. Ensuring scalable and efficient cloud architecture.
• Developing and Managing Automation Workflows: Designing and implementing automated workflows to streamline operations across the group of companies. This includes automating repetitive tasks, data backups, and system updates.
• System Integration and Automation: Integrating various cloud services and tools to create a seamless operational environment. Using automation tools to link disparate systems for better data flow and process efficiency.
• Cross-Company Collaboration: Working with different departments across the group of companies to understand their technology needs and deploying solutions that meet these requirements.
• Ensuring Data Security and Compliance: Implementing robust security measures in the cloud environment. Ensuring all systems are compliant with relevant data protection regulations.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Continuously monitoring cloud services for performance issues, and proactively implementing optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Acting as a key point of contact for troubleshooting complex issues related to cloud services and automated systems. Providing ongoing technical support to various teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluating existing cloud setups and automation processes, and recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
• Training and Documentation: Creating comprehensive documentation for cloud systems and automated processes. Conducting training sessions for staff to familiarize them with new technologies and workflows.
• Staying Updated with Cloud Technologies: Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud technologies and automation tools to ensure the company’s technology stack remains current and competitive.
