    Testimony College of Health and Allied Sciences was established in 2014 under the name Kullangwa Prinmat Nursing and Midwifery School, which aim in quality education and prove excellence in providing services towards the emerging health care delivery system. Nursing and health related profession has unlimited opportunities in and around the universe.

    We offer certificate in Nursing and Midwifery in a duration of two years and community health workers training in a duration of one year. We have well experienced, excellent, dedicated faculty towards the student’s success and achievement. We have an excellent infrastructure with conducive learning environment like training facilities, library facilities and also classroom facilities with all the available amenities to support the student study and pleasant stay here.

    Testimony College of Health and Allied Sciences was established from Kullangwa Nursing and Midwifery School with an objective of training nurses/midwives and Community Health workers with a purpose of:

    1.  Improving quality of health service at community level.
    2.  To ensure that maternal, newborn and child health service finds better referrals by trained personnel.
    3.  To improve quality of nursing and midwifery services at PRINMAT maternity homes and other health facilities for making a difference in nursing and midwifery care.

    Kullangwa is constructed according to NACTE and TNMC guidelines with good space for students to learn and recreate.

    LOCATION

    • The school is located at Madale in Ubungo District, Dar es salaam Region. Madale is found west of Tegeta,
    • 6 kilometres from Twiga Cement Factory.

    The environment of the school is friendly and provides peace of mind for learning, studying and working.

    Envision increased access to quality reproductive, maternal, Newborn and Child health care through well trained Nurses and Midwives in Tanzania.

    MISSION
    Create an impact in health care through nurses, to provide effective, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative care at all settings. Kullangwa Nursing School embraces and promotes the nursing profession that demonstrates positive attitude to patients and their surroundings, provision of good quality health services at all levels of care and commitment to produce nurses who are constantly ready to act appropriately according to the situation that may arise socially, mentally, or environmental needs of the individuals at their surroundings.

    ACCREDITATION
    The school is approved and registered by Tanzania Nurses and Midwifery Council (TNMC) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE). Kullangwa is registered by NACTE with the number REG/HAS/15 OP and by TNMC with the number 0086and licensed number 0022.

    CURRICULUM

    • The school uses the curriculum that has been prepared by Ministry of Health through TNMC together with NACTE. The certificate in Nursing/ is also referred to as Enrolled Nursing and Midwifery course.
    • The curriculum for Community Health Workers has been prepared by Ministry of Health and NACTE.
    • All curricula are designed and prepared centrally to be used by all schools of nursing to bring uniformity in knowledge and skills of the providers.

    Holders of Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4 ) in Community Development, Social Work, Gender, Youth Work OR Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least one Principal pass and one Subsidiary in Principal subjects.
    Ordinary Diploma in Nursing and MidwiferyHolders  of  Certificate  of  Secondary  Education  Examination  (CSEE) with  At  Least  four  (4)  Passes  in  non-religious  Subjects  including Chemistry, Biology and Physics/Engineering Sciences. A Pass in Basic Mathematics and English Language Is An Added Advantage.
