    Selected Applicants with Multiple Admissions

The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) has also provided a list of applicants selected for the 2024-2025 academic year who have been accepted by more than one college. According to the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), applicants selected by more than one college must confirm their admission at the college they prefer to attend before September 21, 2024.

The process of confirming admission requires a student to log into the DIT Online admission system and confirm their admission.

Students with multiple admissions are required to confirm at only one college among those they have been selected for. Therefore, it is important for these applicants to make their decision carefully regarding the college they wish to attend.

Applicants are advised to consider various criteria such as the course offered, the college’s qualifications, and personal requirements when making their decision. Additionally, it is important to consider the deadline set by TCU for confirmation to avoid any inconvenience.

How to Confirm Admission at DIT with TCU Admission Code

According to the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), applicants selected by more than one college must confirm the college they prefer to attend before September 21, 2024. The procedure for confirming admission at the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) using the TCU confirmation code is as follows:

    • Firstly, the applicant needs to obtain the TCU confirmation code. The TCU confirmation code is sent to each student who has been admitted to more than one college via email and their phone numbers.
    • For students who have not received their confirmation codes, they can again request the code by logging into their accounts and entering their information such as phone number and email to directly notify TCU for their codes to be sent.
    • Once you receive the TCU confirmation code, you can confirm your admission at DIT. To confirm your admission, log into your DIT admission account using your username and password and go to the ‘confirm admission’ section.
    • Enter the TCU admission confirmation code in the box labeled ‘Enter admission code’ and click ‘Confirm’.
    • If all your information is correct, you will receive a message stating that you have successfully confirmed your admission. If there is any issue, you are advised to contact the DIT admissions office for further assistance through the following numbers:
      • Admission Officer: +255755089545, +255782337971, +255655643738
      • Whatsapp: +255784551058

It is important to confirm your admission as soon as possible to avoid any potential inconveniences. Remember that confirming your admission at DIT will forfeit your admission opportunity at other colleges you have been selected for, so it is wise to make your decisions carefully and with a calm mindset.

Congratulations to all applicants selected to join the Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT). For applicants who were not selected in the first round of admissions, do not worry as there is another opportunity for admissions in the second round which has officially opened from September 3rd to 21st, 2024.
