Students can get information through SIPA
HESLB Executive Director Dr. Bill Kiwia stated that all students who applied for loans for the 2024/2025 academic year can obtain detailed information about their loans through the accounts they used to apply for loans, known as ‘SIPA’ – Student’s Individual Permanent Account.
“Today we have started providing loan information for all groups; those who have been allocated loans, and there are some whose applications we are still processing… each applicant receives their information in the same account they used to apply for the loan, there is no need to visit HESLB offices,” said Dr. Kiwia, adding that the allocation of loans for diploma and postgraduate students is ongoing.
Dr. Kiwia stated that HESLB has begun preparing payments for new students and continuing students who are beneficiaries of loans and said the goal is to ensure that funds reach universities on time.
