NACTE Online Application System Overview
The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) Online Application System is a specialized system for college applications, developed by NACTE to enable students to submit applications to various government colleges and to simplify the process of processing received college applications through the system.
This system has greatly facilitated the Online application process to government colleges as it allows students to submit their applications directly to college online, reducing the hassle and costs of traveling to the college to submit applications by mail or manual application.
For all students who have completed secondary education and wish to continue their studies at various government colleges in the country such as Health and Allied Sciences (HAS), Science and Allied Technologies (SAT), and Business, Tourism and Planning (BTP), it is important to know how to submit your applications online.

The Essential Checklist for NACTE Online Application
All prospective students who wishes to submit their applications online through the NACTE system must consider the following essential items or documents needed when submitting their online applications:
- Conduct a thorough college and course research.
- Carefully read the NACTE Admission guidebook 2024/2025 to understand the criteria and fees for the course you wish to study.
- Prepare your academic certificates and all necessary documents such as your CSEE or ACSEE certificate, birth certificate
- Prepare the application fee of TSH 10,000 per every college you wish to apply Online (With the maximum of 5 colleges which is equal to 50,000 Tsh).
- Ensure you have the following important credentials nearby:
- Valid and Working Email Address
- Valid Mobile Phone Number
- Form four Index number.
- Form six index number if you are using ACSEE qualifications.
- If you are an applicants with foreign qualifications (equivalent of secondary education) you must first seek equivalence from National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA), while those with foreign certificates must obtain equivalences from National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).
NACTE Admission Requirements
NACTE Admission Requirements is a system of admission criteria set by NACTVET used for the selection of students eligible to join various courses at certificate and diploma levels in institutions managed by NACTVET. These criteria help applicants during the submission of their applications and assist institutions during the enrolment of students who meet these criteria.
It is advisable before you start applying for colleges through the NACTVET system to ensure that you meet these admission criteria set by NACTVET.
The minimum entry qualifications into National Technical Award (NTA) programs are four (4) passes in Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (CSEE). However, the specific entry requirements are stipulated in the respective curriculum documents as specified in the Admission Guidebook. NACTE Application for Admissions 2024/2025
NACTVET Students’ admission is done in accordance with the academic calendar for each academic year, which can be downloaded from the NACTVET website.
NACVET Application process starts by NACTVET announcing the admissions windows to the public on dates indicated on the academic calendar. The admission process starts by applicants applying directly to the training institutions offering NVA and NTA programs.
The training institutions receive and process the applications, conduct selection, and submit selected applicants to NACTVET for verification. The names of successful applicants are then published through the websites of the respective institutions.
However, applicants may access their verification results through NACTVET IT system using special Code sent to them via mobile phone numbers provided during application.

NACTE Online Application Process
The admission into various public Health and Allied Sciences (HAS) and Science and Allied Technologies (SAT) colleges is done online through the NACTVET Online application website. Once NACVET announces admissions windows to the public, all applicants must send their application through the NACTE website.
The NACTVET receives and processes the applications, conducts selection, and publishes names of successful applicants on its website.

How to Register Your Account Through the NACTE Online Application Portal
The first step in submitting your college applications through the NACTE system is to register yourself on the portal. Here are the steps on how to register on the NACTVET online admission portal:
- The first step is to visit the NACTVET Central Admission System website at https://tvetims.nacte.go.tz/.
- Go directly to the “Registration” section to start your registration.
- Click on the link that says, “If this is your first time click here to start your application.”
- This will take you to a special registration page where you will fill in your educational details such as CSEE index number, year of completing CSEE or ACSEE.
- The next step is to enter your contact details such as your phone number and email address.
- Click continue, and the system will take you to the next page to verify your names. Check if your name and other details are correct; click yes if your details are correct or choose no if you see incorrect details. Click continue to proceed to the next step.
- In this next step, you will be able to complete your personal profile.
- Your NACTVET login credentials will be sent to you via the email address you used during registration.
- From there, you can log in to the system and start applying for the course of your choice.
Step-by-Step Guide to Completing Your NACTE Online Application
Once you have successfully created your NACTVET account, now you can start your application by following these steps below:
- Visit the NACTE Online application website: https://tvetims.nacte.go.tz/.
- Click on the link which is labelled “If you are already registered, please click here.”
- The login page will open; enter your username, password, and the code from the image and click the login button.
- From there, you will now be logged in on the NACTE online Application portal; now you can pay your application fees and apply for a college of your choice.
