TAMISEMI, in collaboration with NECTA, coordinates the form one students selecting process to ensure that every student who passed the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) 2024 is selected to continue with the secondary school education in various government schools. As in other regions, in this region, the selection process involved all its 9 councils, including Masasi Dc, Masasi Tc, Mtwara Dc, Mtwara Mikindani Mc, Nanyamba Tc, Nanyumbu Dc, Newala Dc, Newala Tc, and Tandahimba Dc councils.
