Our initiatives are diverse, ranging from becoming a more sustainable College, and developing online tools for our staff and students, to a new vision for our students. College has an ambition of adapting to the changing needs of the marketplace. The college embraces the use of technology, realizing early on those investments in IT had the unique ability to improve access, increase quality and lower costs trainings and skills. History
The Excellent College of Health and Allied Sciences was established in 2013 to provide a comprehensive training facility for local and international students. The priorities of Excellent College of Health and Allied Sciences are to provide demand driven training, consulting and applied/ action research to the public, non governmental and private sectors of Tanzania.Excellent College of Health and Allied Sciences provision falls under the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, the Elderly and Children regulations and guidelines and has the mission to provide learning for the majority of Tanzanians, under a competence based focus.
The training programmes offered follow the National Technical awards (NTA) framework, and Excellent College of Health and Allied Sciences is registered to offer semi-professional qualifications, i.e. from level 4 to level 6. Hence when a student registers at Excellent College of Health and Allied Sciences he /she will be working towards a semi professional qualification, culminating into certificate and a diploma level.
Excellent College of Health and Allied Sciences is a preferred service provider of knowledge and skills to the local and international students, but in future it will also be a centre for continuous learning for the different academic programmes, providing quality competence based training, applied research and consulting interventions to the public. It is our expectation that you will fully utilize this opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and insights through well researched, designed competence based programmes, resourced by highly qualified and registered CBET training providers.
The College has taken all measures to make sure that the information provided is current and accurate, in terms of staffing, curricula, course contents, and teaching facilities. As we are guided by NACTE, the College can make any changes to this information as required by NACTE or the Government, without being liable to any damages resulting from change in training policies and regulations as stipulated by NACTE.
The College will not be liable to students who take legal action as a result of changes in curricula, content or policies, due to changes in policies and procedures stipulated by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, the Elderly and Children or Government as a whole.
