Mwanza University (MzU) is a Private University formally established in 2021 following
granting of Provisional Licence by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) on 30th June 2021. The University is an innovation of the Board of Directors of the Kingdom Business Company Limited (KBLC), established to further social services for the common good of humanity, alongside other company social enterprises, namely Tandabui Institute of Health Sciences and Technology (TIHEST) and Mwananchi Hospital. Mwanza University is building on the long-term reputation and experience of the owners in managing healthcare and training enterprises.

Location

Mwanza University is located 14 km from Mwanza City, along the Musoma-Mwanza Highway
at Nyamhongolo (Plot No. 1 Block C), Mbugani Street, Kishiri Ward, Tanzania.

Mission

The mission of MzU is “ To deliver  education in  a customised blended mode that guarantees a learning style supporting  students to study at ease and with fun, making it accessible and useful to  all students studying at Mwanza University and its collaborating institutions. The final product is graduates who are a valuable contribution as citizens of the global society”.

The vision of MzU is “To become a World class university of choice through teaching, research, innovation and services”. The key attributes of a “world-class” university are qualified staff, academically gifted and successful students, excellence in research, quality teaching at international standards, sustainable funding, and well-equipped facilities.
