AboutChildren’s Dignity Forum (CDF)
Children’s Dignity Forum (CDF) is a voluntary and non-profit child rights organization that works to promote and reinforce rights of vulnerable children by placing children’s legal and human rights on the public agenda. CDF was founded and registered in 2006 under the NGO Act No. 24 of 2002 with its headquarters in Dar es Salaam and two offices in Tarime District, Mara Region and Mpwapwa District, Dodoma Region
CDF is a child rights organization and a lead agency in ending Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), child marriage, teenage pregnancy and harmful practices that affect the wellbeing and dignity of girls and young women in Tanzania. CDF provides a forum for dialogue on contentious issues affecting children and young women.

CDF envisages a Tanzania landscape where children dwell in a context permeated with dignity and where social justice is upheld.

CDF is a non-profit organization that works for promotion of children’s rights for most vulnerable children , through creation of working forums that empower children, families and communities.
