The history of the Mzinga Corporation began with its establishment in cooperation between Tanzania and the People’s Republic of China in 1971 as a project under the Headquarters of the Army (MMJ). From September 13, 1974, the project was transformed into a public corporation through Government Declaration No. 219.

VISION OF THE CORPORATION The vision of the Mzinga Corporation is to be a modern military factory that manufactures superior equipment/tools for the defense and security of the nation.

MISSION OF THE CORPORATION To research, develop, and manufacture military and civilian weapons, ammunition, and explosives, and to provide professional advice.
