DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Identifying, preparing, and ordering the necessary medicines and medical supplies in their workplace.
ii. Distributing medicines and medical supplies to patients and staff.
iii. Mixing medicines.
iv. Storing medicines and medical supplies.
v. Educating the community on the proper use of medicines.
vi. Inspecting medicines, medical supplies, chemicals, reagents, and cosmetics in their workplace.
vii. Reporting on the adverse effects of medicine use.
viii. Coordinating the activities of the hospital’s drug committee.
ix. Preparing reports on the usage of medicines and medical supplies.
x. Conducting quality investigations of medicines, medical supplies, chemicals, reagents, and cosmetics.
xi. Conducting various inspections in areas where medicines are stored.
xii. Supervising the work performance of subordinate staff.
xiii. Keeping records of medicines and medical supplies.
xiv. Performing other duties assigned by their supervisor related to their education, experience, and skills.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Employed individuals with a Diploma in Pharmacy Technology from a government-recognized institution, registered with the Pharmacy Council.
