DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Typing letters, reports, and both regular and confidential documents;
ii. Receiving guests, addressing their concerns, and directing them to where they can be assisted;
iii. Maintaining records of events, appointments, meeting dates, the boss’s trips, and other work schedules;
iv. Locating files and documents needed in the performance of duties;
v. Receiving files and distributing them to the relevant Officers in the Department/Unit/Section;
vi. Collecting, keeping, and returning files and documents to relevant locations;
vii. Organizing meeting notes and preparing for various meetings;
viii. Preparing a list of office supplies needed; and
ix. Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
To be employed, candidates must be graduates of Form Four or Form Six with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or an NTA level 6 certificate in Secretarial Studies. Additionally, they must have passed the typing test in Swahili and English at 80 words per minute and be proficient in office computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, E-mail, and Publisher from any institution recognized by the Government.
