Duties and Responsibilities
1. Typing letters, reports, and various documents, both general and confidential;
2. Receiving visitors, addressing their issues, and directing them where they can be assisted;
3. Keeping records of events, appointments, meeting dates, the boss’s travel schedules, and other work schedules;
4. Searching for files and documents needed in the execution of work duties;
5. Receiving files and distributing them to the relevant officers in the Department/Unit/Section;
6. Collecting, keeping, and returning files and documents to relevant places;
7. Preparing notes and organizing various meetings;
8. Preparing a list of office supplies needed; and
9. Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience:
Candidates should be graduates of Form Four or Form Six with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies or an NTA level 6 certificate in Secretarial Studies. Additionally, they should have passed the typing test in Swahili and English with at least 80 words per minute and be proficient in office computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, E-mail, and Publisher from any government-recognized institution.
