Job Responsibilities

i.      Providing nursing services.

ii.     Collecting essential health statistics.

iii.    Supervising the work of nurses under their direction.

iv.    Educating patients and the community about their health problems.

v.     Providing preventive and reproductive health services.

vi.    Performing other tasks assigned by their supervisor related to their education, experience, and skills.

Applicant Qualifications

Must have a Diploma in Nursing of at least two years from a government-recognized institution, registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.

Salary Scale

According to the Government Salary Scales TGHS B.

GENERAL TERMS.

• Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
• Applicants who have retired from Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
