JOB DUTIES
i. All tasks performed by an Assistant Medical Officer.
ii. Identifying and treating common diseases.
iii. Supervising the performance of Subordinate Staff and performing minor surgeries.
iv.Participating in planning and implementing Primary Health services.
v. Advising and mobilizing Citizens to contribute to Community Health Fund services.
vi.Keeping records of equipment and tools used for service delivery.
vii. Keeping records, preparing, and providing implementation reports.
viii. Performing other tasks assigned by the Supervisor related to their education, experience, and skills.
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS
Employed individuals with a Diploma in Medicine from a government-recognized institution who are registered with the Tanganyika Medical Council.
SALARY SCALE
In accordance with the Government Salary Scales TGHS-B.
GENERAL TERMS.
- All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and not older than 45 years, except those already employed in government service;

- “Testimonials”, “Provisional Results”, “Statement of results”, Form Four and Form Six results slips (FORM IV AND FORM VI RESULTS SLIPS) WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Applicants who studied outside Tanzania should ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
- Applicants who have retired from Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
- Job applicants who are already employed in entry positions in the Public Service should not apply and must adhere to the instructions in Circular No. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.
- Submission of false information and qualifications will result in legal action against the involved parties.
