How to Confirm your ARU Admission

According to the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU), no student is allowed to be registered at more than one university at the same time. Therefore, all applicants who have multiple admissions are required to choose only one university among the universities they have been selected to.

This can be done by confirming admission at one university among those selected. Before making this choice, applicants are advised to make these decisions considering various factors such as the course they have been selected for, university services, location, etc. Once a decision is reached, the student must confirm admission at one university among those selected to remove themselves from the list of selected applicants from other universities.

It is important for applicants selected for multiple admissions to act as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience that may arise later. Also, this will give other applicants who were not selected in the first application window the opportunity to gain admission.

Applicants with multiple admissions can confirm their admission at ARU using a special code from TCU sent via email or phone numbers.

• After logging into the account, you will find a message saying, “Congratulations you have been selected to join Ardhi University (ARU) and you have multiple admissions, please confirm your admission.”

• The link will take you to the new page, here, you will be asked to enter your TCU confirmation code and then click ‘Confirm button.’
• You will receive a confirmation message indicating that you have accepted your place at ARU. It is important to remember that the TCU admission code is unique and should only be used by the authorized applicant.
