According to the TCU Admissions Almanac for 2024/2025, the College of Business Education (CBE) will open its application for admission for the 2024/25 academic year from July 15, 2024, to August 10, 2024. The names of the successful students will be announced on September 3, 2024, through the official CBE website.

Candidates are required to carefully follow the key dates and deadlines to facilitate the entire admission application process and avoid delays, which could result in missing the opportunity to secure a place for the academic year 2024/2025.

The CBE Step-by-Step Guide to the Online Application Process for 2024/2025

The College of Business Education (CBE) has simplified the entire application process for admissions, which now takes place online through its Online Application System.

To complete the application process, you need to visit the CBE Online Application System website, register your information, and submit your application.

Below, we have provided a step-by-step guide for submitting your application, starting from registration, course selection, and submitting your application.

Step 1: Application Account Registration

The first step to submitting your admission application to the College of Business Education (CBE) is to register your account. Registering your account will be necessary for you to send your admission application. Follow the steps below to register your account:

• Visit The College of Business Education Online Application System at https://coas.cbe.ac.tz/apply/login
• Click the Register link.
• A registration page will open
• Select the campus you want to study at
• Select the Programme Level (i.e., Certificate/Three Years Diploma, Diploma, bachelor’s degree, Postgraduate Diploma, master’s degree, or PhD)
• The Account Registration page section will be displayed, enter your details such as: your names, Form 4 Index Number, Email, Phone Number, Password, select your Nationality, application level, and Entry Qualification
• Once you have filled out all the required details, click the Create account button to create your account
• A new page will open which requires you to complete your Personal Information such as District of Birth, Date of Birth, Region of Birth, Country of Birth, Nationality, Marital Status, Disability, Permanent Address, Current Address, and Next of Kin Info and then click the next button to proceed

Step 2: Applicant process

After completing the process of entering your information, the next step is to fill in your Academic Information such as O’Level and A’Level education details. After filling in your Academic Information, navigate to the Course Selection section.

• After entering your Academic Information, the system will automatically take you to the Course Selection section; in this section, you will be able to choose various courses that you would like to study at CBE. Select the courses you prefer accurately according to your criteria and qualifications.
• Select your intake, Class Session, Sponsorship type (HESLB etc.)
• Choose three programs according to your priority
• Click Next to attach the required attachments.
• Preview & Submit Form: Review your application and confirm that all information is 100% accurate, then you can submit your application.

How to Track Your Application Status at CBE

The admission application process at CBE does not end with the submission of the application alone, but also involves tracking the status of your admission application. Once you have completed the application submission process, the final step is to follow up on the feedback to know whether you have been selected or not.

Applicants who submitted their applications in the first round will be able to know the status of their applications starting from 1/09/2024. From that date, applicants can log into their accounts that they used to submit their applications to know the status of their selection.

To know your application status, whether your admission application to CBE has been successful or not,

• Visit the CBE Online Application System website, and you will be able to see a message confirming your admission.
• Log into your account to find out the status of your application, whether you have been selected by CBE alone or by more than one institution.

If you have been selected by more than one institution, you will be required to confirm your admission using the TCU confirmation code, which will be sent to your email and phone number. To confirm your admission at CBE, click here.

Those who have not been selected in the first round still can reapply in the second round of admissions, which will officially open from 3 to 21/09/2024.

Additionally, the confirmation window for applicants admitted in the first application window will be open from 3 to 21/09/2024, and the List of students admitted in the second application window will be available on 5/10/2024.
